A revista Elle divulgou um documentário onde mostra os bastidores de cada sessão fotográfica realizada pelas Rita Ora, Alicia Keys, Jessue Ware, Miranda Lambert e a girlband Haim, para a sua edição em homenagem às Mulheres da Música.

Ontem (07/04), decorreu em Las Vegas, o Academy Of Country Music Awards 2013, uma das maiores cerimónias de prestígio e a mais respeitada da música country.
O cantor Luke Bryan foi o grande vencedor da principal categoria da noite: Entertainer of the Year, mas quem levou mais prémios para casa foi a cantora Miranda Lambert, vê abaixo a lista completa dos vencedores:

A revista americana Billboard divulgou uma lista elaborada pelos seus com os 40 nomes do mundo da música mais bem pagos nos últimos 12 meses, liderando a Rainha do Pop, Madonna!
A artista ficou em 1º lugar no ranking, com um faturamento de mais de 34,5 milhões de dólares, resultado do sucesso da MDNA Tour, que foi a digressão mais lucrativa de 2012, com faturamento de 32 milhões de dólare, e também às vendas do álbum MDNA, que lhe rendereu mais 1,5 milhão de dólares. Esta não é a primeira, mas sim a segunda vez que Madonna lidera esta lista, a primeira vez foi em 2008!

A lista traz também nomes como Bruce Springsteen em 2º lugar, Coldplay em 9º, Justin Bieber em 10º, Adele em 11º, Taylor Swift em 15º, Carrie Underwood em 16º, Drake em 24º, One Direction em 30º, Maroon 5 em 33º e Jay-Z em 34º.

Esta semana foram anunciados dois novos nomes que subirão ao palco do Grammy 2013, que terá lugar no dia 10 de fevereiro, em Los Angeles.
Os nomes anunciados são: Ed Sheeran e Miranda Lambert! Através do Twitter, Ed Sheeran anunciou que será uma das atrações musicais.

Feliz em anunciar que eu estarei a apresentar-me ao vivo no Grammy. Mal posso esperar.

Em entrevista, Miranda Lambert disse:

Significa muito ser nomeada e apresentar-me. Estou muito agradecida em fazer parte disso.

News: Miranda Lambert & Chris Brown

Desde o ano passado que a cantora Miranda Lambert tem vindo a demonstrar-se publicamente insatisfeita pelo facto de Chris Brown estar a ser tratado com normalidade, depois de ter agredido fisicamente a Rihanna, em 2009. Em entrevista à revista Redbook, a artista country voltou a tocar no assunto:

Isso não está certo: ser celebrado depois de ter feito isso. Não acho que esteja certo e nunca acharei. Não me sentiria bem em não falar nada. Eu falo tudo que penso. Queria que todos soubessem que não concordo com a mensagem enviada para as jovens mulheres.
